entworfen worden, ohne Ruecksicht auf d i e Beduerfnisse von
unvorbelasteten Usern z u nehmen!
Ich h a t t e v o r e i n i g e n J a h r e n e i n m a l d i e G e l e g e n h e i t e i n e
B . U . C . H . s - Ve r s i o n z u t e s t e n . E s muss..,zich d a b e i w o h l u m e i n e n
fruehen Prototypen gehandelt haben. AUf jeden F a l l f a n d i c h
die Benutzerfuehrung aeusserst problematisch. Fuer meine
Version w a r k e i n Manual v e r f u e g b a r , j a n i c h t e i n m a l e i n e H e l p F u n k t i o n ! A l s o m u s s t e i c h m i c h s e l b s t muehsam i n d i e B e d i e n u n g
einarbeiten.
Mach e i n i g e n S c h w i e r i g k e i t e n g e l a n g e s m i r , e i n e n
dargestellten Te x t downzuloaden. Doch da! M i t t e n i m Satz brach
die Ausgabe ab! Mach naeherer Betrachtung s t e l l t e i c h f e s t ,
dass d i e E n t w i c k l e r , a u f g r u n d a u s s c h l i e s s l i c h t e c h n i s c h e r
Gruende, e i n f e s t e s B l o c k f o r m a t g e w a e h l t h a t t e n , d a s i n k e i n e r
Weise m i t d e m I n h a l t d e s g e s p e i c h e r t e n Te x t e s i n V e r b i n d u n g
stand. Mach dem Download e i n e s Blockes muss a l s o e i n w e i t e r e r
Block a n g e f o r d e r t werden. Dabei s i n d d i e Bioecke n i c h t , w i e
h i e r i n CLINCH d i e B r e t t e r , m i t s i n n v o l l e n Bezeichnungen
gekennzeichnet, n e i n , s i e sind s c h l i c h t nummeriert! Meine
Version h a t t e e i n e K a p a z i t a e t v o n mehreren h u n d e r t B l o e c k e n .

Letztendlich wurde mir k l a r, dass B.U.C.H.s durchaus keine so
revolutionaere Neuentwicklung darstellen, w i e einem d i e
Entwickler (verstaendlicherweise) einreden wollen. D i e
grundlegenden P r i n z i p i e n s i n d von einem anderen Produkt
u e b e r n o m m e n w o r d e n . N a e h m l i ch v o n S . P R . A . C H . E . ( e g u e n t i a l
fifiaehistoric-AnachOnistic C H a r a c t e r Encoding). -Dieses a l t e
.1::änzept i s t j a l e i d e r , t r o t z s e i n e r o f f e n k u n d i g e n M a e n g e l ,
durch e i n e V i e l z a h l v o n " d e - F a c t o -Standards" w e i t v e r b r e i t e t .
Fuer B . U . C . H . s w u r d e d i e s e q u e n t i e l l e D a r s t e l l u n g uebernommen,
die j a bekanntlich ueberhaupt n i c h t der Arbeitsweise des
menschlichen B e w u s s t s e i n s e n t s p r i c h t . Wa s n i c h t uebernommen
wurde, i s t d i e Vo l l d u p l e x - M o e g l i c h k e i t v o n S . P R . A . C H . E . , e i n e m
der w e s e n t l i c h e n Gruende f u e r dessen E r f o l g .
Kurz: B . U . C . H . i s t z w e i f e l o s v o n e i n i g e n Te c h n o - F e t i s c h i s t e n
am B e n u t z e r v o r b e i e n t w i c k e l t w o r d e n , u n d i c h b i n m i r s i c h e r ,
dass s i c h B . U . C . H . s a u c h b e i m a s s i v e r U n t e r s t u e t z u n g d u r c h d a s
BMFT n i c h t d u r c h s e t z e n k o e n n e n .
A n d e r e r s e i t s muessen w i r u n s d a r u e b e r i m K l a r e n s e i n , d a s s
wenn e s d o c h z u e i n e r M a r k t e i n f u e h r u n g k o m m e n s o l l t e , s i c h
wahrscheinlich, l a n g f r i s t i g gesehen, schwerwiegende psychische
Stoerungen b e i d e n Benutzern e i n s t e l l e n werden. A e h n l i c h w i e
die von Paedagogen b e k l a g t e " A t a r i i t i s " v o n K i n d e r n , d i e beim
Malen B i l d e r i n P i x e l a u f l o e s e n ( m e i s t L o w - R e s o l u t i o n ) , i s t
mit entsprechenden Stoerungen b e i B.U.C.H.-Usern z u rechnen.
Daher m o e c h t e i c h z u d e r G r u e n d u n g e i n e r I n i t i a t i v e g e g e n d i e
Einfuehrung von B.U.C.H.s anregen.
