How to find us
You'll probably want to have a look at our location on the
map. (Tip: Anyone coming by bus or train should scroll the overview to the
right a little where stations "Lattenkamp" and "Hudtwalckerstraße" can be
found. "Hagenbecks Tierpark" lies to the left.)
Overview
By bus / train
By Car
By bus / train
All connections apply to daytime only.
There's night busses though which won't be covered here.
The exact times of arrival/departure can be obtained from the
HVV schedule .
From "Hauptbahnhof" (central station)
1. Line U1
Line U1 is located in the underground part of the station and can be best
reached from where the "S" trains arrive in the part for long range trains.
From there on just follow the signs to find the "U1". Get on the train to
"Norderstedt-Mitte", "Garstedt", "Ochsenzoll", "Fuhlsbüttel" or "Ohlsdorf"
til you reach station "Kellinghusenstraße" ,
"Hudtwalckerstraße" or
"Lattenkamp" and continue reading the appropriate section.
2. Line U2
Line U2 arrives in the northern part of the station. Find this underground
station by leaving the "Wandelhalle" (shopping mall inside the main building
of the station - look out for signs) at "Mönckebergstraße" (exit
across the street from the main parking lot) and using the underground
entrance to the right. From there on proceed to the train going to "Niendorf
Nord", get on the next train and leave it at
Hagenbecks Tierpark . After that follow the instructions below.
3. Line U3
Using Line U3 takes a bit longer but will give you a nice view of Hamburg's port.
Trains leave next to U1 (see above). Get on the train to "Kellinghusenstraße"
or "Barmbek" and leave at Kellinghusenstraße
(see below).
4. Bus
Over the tunnel leading also to U1/U3 the "ZOB" (central bus station) can be
reached. Enter the Airport-Express and leave it at "Tarpenbekstraße".
Then walk to the next intersection in the direction the bus is going. Look
across the intersection in a diagonal line to the left. That's where the club
is located. WARNING: This bus does not belong to "HVV" so you have to pay
8.50 DM in any case (as of 03/13/1999).
From the Airport
1. Line 110/U1
Line 110 is the Airport-Express of HVV and departs from terminal 4 (where
most people arrive). Take this bus all the way to "Ohlsdorf" where you switch
to the train line U1 to "Wandsbek-Markt", "Farmsen", "Großhansdorf" or
"Ohlstedt". Leave the train at station "Lattenkamp",
"Hudtwalckerstraße" or
"Kellinghusenstraße" . Further info below.
2. Line 268/U1
Line 268 departs somewhere between terminals 3 and 4. Take it to station
"Alsterdorf" where you should take the U1 as described above for line 110.
3. Airport-Express
is 8.50 DM (not HVV!) from the airport and departs at terminal 4 going to
"Hauptbahnhof". Again, leave at "Tarpenbekstraße" and go back to the
intersection. We're located across the intersection slightly to the left of it.
4. Line 39
This bus goes directly to "Tarpenbeckstraße". Follow the instructions above.
From "Kellinghusenstraße"
1. Bus 190
This one isn't there very often, however, it is the best way to get to us.
Either take it to "Tarpenbekstraße" and proceed to the intersection (see
above) or leave at "Frickestraße", from where it takes about 3 minutes
to go back (in counterdirection to the bus) until you reach us.
2. Bus 39
This one is the same as Line 190 but is a fast line so you need to pay an extra
fee.
3. Bus 106
This bus drives quite frequently. Take it for 2 stations til you reach
"Krankenhaus Bethanien" and proceed in the same direction to "Tarpenbekstraße",
where you take a left to the big intersection (see above).
From "Hudtwalckerstr." / "Winterhuder Markt"
1. U1
Take it for one station to "Kellinghusenstraße".
2. Bus 113
This is almost the same as bus 106 but as you reach "Krankenhaus Bethanien" you
need to go back to get to "Tarpenbekstraße".
3. Bus 106
Follow the same instructions as for bus 113.
From "Lattenkamp"
1. Line U1
From "Lattenkamp" simply ride in direction to central Hamburg to
station Hudtwalckerstraße or Kellinghusenstraße
2. Bus 114
Due to some major construction it is only possible to take this one to
"Eppendorfer Markt". Take Bus 106 or 113 from there (see Hudtwalckerstraße - The busses eventually get there).
3. Walk
Leave the station through the exit where there's no snack bar and go
left until you reach the intersection. Go through "Meenkwiese" until
it splits at a set of lights. Take a left into "Eppendorfer
Landstraße" and take the next one right again (you'll pass a
restaurant named "Klopstock"). Now go straight until you reach the
intersection of "Tarpenbeckstraße" and "Lokstedter
Weg" where you just have to cross the lights.
From "Hagenbecks Tierpark"
1. Bus 39 / 190
Both busses take the same route but bus 39 costs more since it is a fast line.
Once on the bus simply exit at "Tarpenbeckstraße" and go back
to the big intersection.

- Frickestraße: Line 39,190
- Krankenhaus Bethanien: Line 106,113

By Car
These routes are just some of the many
possibilities.
From autobahn A7
We recommend: Exit "Stellingen".
First, follow the signs to the center, but at first chance take a left into
"Sportplatzring" to "Eppendorf" (watch for signs). After
some time "Sportplatzring" becomes "Lokstedter Weg". Our
rooms are just before the intersection with
"Tarpenbeckstraße". Now all you need is a an empty parking
space...
All the other descriptions will follow soon.
